Preparation tips:Pilaf cooking (recommended by Taureau Ailé): Fry 1 volume of rice in 1 tablespoon of oil or butter until the grains are translucent. Add 1.5 parts salt water. Cover and cook over medium heat until all the water has been absorbed (about 11 minutes). Creole cooking: Pour 1 part rice into 5 parts boiling salted water. Cover and cook for 10 to 12 minutes over medium heat. Finally, drain and enjoy.
