UNIQUE FLAVOR: The combinations of altitude and climate provides this coffee with unique organoleptic characteristics: good body with a cup of high acidity, fine excellent aroma characterized by an intense and slightly chocolate flavor. SPECIALTY GRADE RATING: Our premium coffee scores an 83 out of 100 in the SCA Coffee Rating. SCA stands for Specialty Coffee Association. This certification is granted only on a few specialty coffee makers that meet their rigorous technical requirements which are based on proper water temperature, brewing time, and ability to brew within the SCA Golden Cup recommendations. 100% ARABICA COFFEE - Costa Rica is the only country in the world where just 100% Arabica coffee variety is cultivated. Volcanic soil allows for deep drainage that's perfect for mineral access to plants resulting in full flavor coffee beans. FRESHLY ROASTED: El Gusto premium coffee beans are freshly roasted then immediately packed in triple-layer aluminum bags with valves to ensure the freshest quality whole bean coffee.
